Mid-summer Delight or Madness??

Whether you are camping, farming, taking care of children, attending festivals, building structures, designing programs, caring for and serving others, transporting people, staying on top of the news, preparing food, creating art, swimming in lakes or rivers, riding horses or bikes, visiting family, moving to a new place, or picking berries and eating ice cream, would you say you are delighting in your activity or find it maddening? What are you appreciating? What are you noticing? What activities are in alignment with your life values? Is there anything that may need to be deleted from your daily or weekly life? Or is there something new needed? Mid-summer is a good time to re-evaluate. Often we are socializing in summer and with all the normal responsibilities life brings us we often do not have time to be still and take a look at what really works. Find the time to swim or walk by yourself. Be in nature, near water and let the rhythm of life in the natural world speak to you. Allow yourself to attend a festival you have never been to before to experience something new. Notice what balances you, enlivens you and carries you forward!!

#festivals, #summer fun, #nature, #coaching for balance,
