What does it take to stay inspired? I decided I would search my photos from my recent trip to Europe for one that I thought was inspiring to me. I looked and looked and ended up editing and deleting photos as I journeyed them all and re-visited my exciting trip to Cornwall, France and Croatia. I was ready to accept that although many were interesting and well designed nothing grabbed me with regard to inspiration until I looked again at the one I have posted now. It is taken in Porthcurno, Cornwall, England, of the Minack Theater. An amazing wonder right on the cliffs created by one woman with the help from three different men over her lifetime. Rowena Cade began building this out door amphitheater in 1931, for a production of The Tempest. She was inspired to create a space for her community to come and see live theater by the sea, and thus began her quest, hauling boulders, sand and other material for the rest of her life. Once started she was driven to continue the building, transforming the cliff side into one of the most beautiful amphitheaters in the world. A hard worker, determined, with a vision, that kept her inspiration alive. How do you inspire yourself? Sometimes it is just taking action because as we act, we are informed about what to do next.
